XCode is for sure neglected because it can be. The number of iOS devs is only rising regardless of the IDE. Besides, the limited feature set is in line with Apple’s product philosophy in general: do it how we say. It’s a different and more hardline philosophy, understandably it rubs people the wrong way. But you can deny it’s success. I have a grudging respect for Apple, but I only use XCode when I have to.
